Brandyn Campbell on Creating Inclusive Spaces with Student Leaders

This local press coverage of the 2025 Schuylkill County Youth Conference highlights the purpose and impact of this important event featuring local high school students.

The anti-bias conference, with a curriculum created by Brandyn Campbell, was designed to explore what makes kind, welcoming, and inclusive communities.

“We all want to be treated well, we all want to be heard, and we all want to belong and be included,” Campbell said. “Making sure that happens can take some effort, and that’s what I talk to people about. That’s part of what we’ll explore today. Our hope is that some of what we talk about, some of the activities we do, are things you’ll take back with you and are lessons and tools that you’ll have for your life.”
